Following Discussions with Liz last night the running of the MH has for the forseeable future been turned over to me and Aradia.
While the MH will ALWAYS be Lady nightshades mithril hall, I am working on a YaBB version (As we had before) even as I type this.
It is a long process though and not a simple one so it may be some time before its done.
Upto now its about 8% compleate, please be patient as I said it could take some time and I will do my best to keep you all upto date with my progress.
Once the Proper MH goes back online this forum will be put into read only mode, so you can copy and paste your posts across.
Also Web space is limited for now as its a public host so do not ask me to host avatars because I simply cannot do so, yet.
Nachtrafe has been kind enough to create an avatar site, and once I get going I may upgrade our webspace to a pay for provider at such time I will host avatars, untill then due to bandwith issues (we get 1gb per month, which should be enough) and space issues I will simply refuse all requests.

I can host the forum.
eeer i'll rephrase that.
I'm on win2k, with IIS fully patched and operational, and I'm by cable, my quotas are really great since I dont use them most of the time. So it's not a problem for me to host the forum on my server.

Related news is on the thread entitled, "and now for the bad news" or something like that. I still hope that someday Liz will feel better and want to come back and take over her own forum again...but for now, this is the way it will be. And she might visit us from time to time if we beg and look at her with puppy dog eyes  |

Right initial Files uploaded. Win2k will not run YaBB properly CJ I just looked into that it runs through PEarl5 and prefers Linux win2k tends to kill ths KSH files for auto scripting, which the one we will be running will use a lot of. Names yes Dio I will try my best to make sure you can fit it in Regarding a private host I am in Negotiations with a corperate adult web host so that NR can be totally free. However at this time as shown with the problems for when Ken and Liz were hosting, hosting from home is not an option we are looking to explore. |

Yeah Great Plan except I know for a fact that a large group of people would leave in discust cos they dont like you Ok that was a shitty thing to say in public here.  You could have kept that private... |
