When the Admins add more smilies in the future, a thumbs up and thumbs down "Siskel & Ebert" approach would be cool!
I reckon we could use stars for now? Five stars being excellent.
1.) The Mummy II- Pretty cool special effects and not too bad of a plot line, but still on the hokey side all in all. Although it was a big improvement over the first one IMO, and I have seen worse movies than this to be sure.
***
2.) Final Fantasy- I loved it, including the Gaian philosophy of a planet having spirit. Being animated wasnt a draw back since it was still quite realistic.
****
3.) Zoolander- At the behest of Mrs Morlockin, we went to go see this (shes a huge fan of Ben Stiller). It was funny how they made fun of male models, in particular, but not all that great overall. It got kinda tiresome after a while. Will Farrel was hilarious though1
* 1/2
4.) Along Came a Spider- My kinda flick! Morgan Freeman is back in a "Part II" of Kiss for the Girls, or at least as the same character anyway. I thought the plot was great.
*****
5.) Heartbreakers- I thought was rather fun/funny. The way the ladies in the movie con, everything they want is inspirational LOL! Jennifer Love Hewitt in low cut, tight mini skirts and high heels is definitely a plus, though she looks best in jeans......YUM! Gene Hackmans character was great!
***1/2
6.) What Women Want- Was funny. A womans worst nightmare.... a borderline gigilo that can read your mind. LOL!
***1/2
7.) Traffic- Great plot shown from about every conceivable angle of the drug trade. You almost feel sorry for Catherine Zeta Jones character, being married to a "king-pin" and pregnant.
****
