I saw Final Fantasy last night as well... for the second time, and we got it on DVD. It was as awesome as ever and blahblah. Then we switched to the second DVD. You wouldnt believe the stuff there is on this one. They made Aki get out of the scanning room after a take and you see all the people in the studio, characters and real persons (programmers). Then in the menus you have the serious stuff, and the not so serious stuff. There was one called "Jokes outakes" where you could see the characters kicking each others or plain bloopers happening...lol Like Aki sneezing on Gray at the final scene and everyone laughing, Gray opening his eyes and laughing as well...lol
BUT the best we found was this easter egg... You see the General running out for his ship after disrupting the barrier... and being stopped by the others as they do the Thriller dance... Hilarious I tell ya.
These guys must have had plenty of time to lose to make all these things, and it is well worth the look.

Tried to rent this movie over the weekend, but no one else wanted to watch it! I'll have to get it on my own I guess. My friends that saw it really like it and said the animation was tops (the reason I want to see it)! And two discs... Can't go wrong with that! So anyway, we ended up with A Knights Tale instead, which was pretty decent.

Whoa! Just flipped open this weeks Entertainment Weekly about 30 seconds ago and found this: "DVD Easter Egg of the Week. Hidden on the sci-fi flick's second disc is a tribute to Michael Jackson: a shot-for-shot copy of Thriller's dance sequence, starring Dr. Aki Ross and her CGI pals. The scary thing is how much Jacko looks like a digital chick these days."

My favorite song by Michael Jackson has always been Beat It.
