A statement regarding the recent 'forum war'

I posted the following message on the Myth Drannor message board:

As an official representative of the entire administration of the new Mithril Hall mhroleplay.proboards.com/index.cgi , Koth, Aradia, Gia and myself, I am declaring this conflict at an end.

We were all friends at one point and each of us feel that the bad feelings have gone on for far too long. In it's new incarnation we have included none of the people involved on a 'banned' list and hope, at some point, to recapture the friendships that we previously enjoyed.

At this point, any who still harbor grudges about anything that happened may keep them as their own ; as for the current leadership of the two forums, it is over. I've spoken to the leadership of MD, and they are in agreement.

For my own part, I offer my apologies to any who may have been PERSONALLY offended by anything I may have said during the recent unpleasantness.

This is now at an end.

Indeed, hopefully now once we get everything cleared up once and for all, both communities can put the arguements and standoffish bad blood behind us.

However I do have a couple of requests to make of members of Both The Mithril hall and Myth Drannor.

Please while this is being ironed out remember we are not looking to lay blame for what happened anywhere, what we are working towards is an ideal situation where members of both communities can once again mingle in the spirit of friendship that both places were created to foster.

I hope both sides will be able to carry this forward without dragging the past back up.

One thing I have been looking into as a possable bridge building Excorsise is a communial hub site.

What that means is that one person from each forum (IE IW, MH, MD, PBG, the elysium ect) all forum sites involved in this area really, would be invited to maintain a site, dedicated to the games and princaples of friendhip that binds each respective place.

Such things as member reviews of new games, tips walkthroughs and articles of relevance could be writting by anyone and submitted to the respective people on each forum, they would then pool with the other webmasters and from member submitted work, we would craft a gameing website that would not only provide a portal to all our homes, but would raise all of our profiles and help foster a sense of friendship and commonality that has been sadly lacking between our respective groups.

This sounds like a wondeful idea.  I, for one, am very happy that the feud is over.  I hope we can all grow, like Bel and Koth have said.  Sounds like a great and enjoyable future, and I'm glad I get to see it happen.

Recent events in my personal life have taught me that life is too short for constant arguments and battles.  Everyone should try and get along..  these are just message boards...  Not all consuming life shattering events.   There's no need for all the bickering.  TRUST ME ON THIS!    

I,  for one am glad to see it all come to an end.
