I have just learned that birds that have had their feathers clipped, rendering them flightless, can once again take to the air by the use of 'feather extensions'. They are glued on.
Well humans have been using hair extensions for some time.
But I wonder where this might lead. Stick on tails for those dogs that have had them cropped? Fake nails for bunnies that have had theirs clipped?
Maybe even fake moustaches for police dogs going undercover?
