I live to see a world:
- where everybody is accepted for who they are - where people will not look straight ahead and pretend not to see beggars and thin grimy children peering from behind matted hair - where arguments are won with words and not weapons - where lies and security is unnecessary, because everybody will not fault you for what you are - where sharing is second nature - where the large corporations no longer hoard their wealth and instead use it to fund greater purposes than a faster car or a more lethal missile - where sueing and courtrooms and execution halls are no longer necessary, because all is forgiven - where children can play without fear - where adults can love without fear - where everybody, regardless of race or sex or religion or culture or beliefs, is given the same chance at life as the next - where people are allowed to live.
I really don't know where this came from.. I guess I was in a contemplative state of mind as I read this thread.

I see a world full of enslaved men....kept alive only to cater to our every whim and reproduce....I see a utopia.....I see....
*wakes up*
Oh....well, I see the world less crowded, no hate, no hunger, no wars, no need for weapons against man. Men enslaved, carrying the women from place to place, at their beck and call.......oops, sorry...slipped off there again.

Zoras, you really are deluded.... Alright. Since my humanitarian, caring side of me got dashed to pieces, in comes my ruthless, tyrannical side. All citizens shall live only to serve the Government. Your every choice with regards to food, education and even mating partners shall be decided by Us, since we know things so much better than you. War shall be abolished, but instead we shall introduce mass gladiatorial events where the criminals, poor and handicapped are forced to slaughter each other for the priviledged's amusement. Abortion and euthanasia are in. Freedom of speech and voting are out. And when you have outlived your usefulness and can no longer contribute as a productive drone of society, you shall be terminated and your body recycled to feed the hydroponic farms that provide just enough food to keep the masses alive. We are watching you... Oh yes, and the practise of law shall be abolished.

I dream of exactly the same thing, my dear, except that the roles of men and women are switched.

Something like the Discworld would be nice Other than that, what Zoras mentioned, with the stress on "where people are free to live", which sums it all up, really.
